The pre-school children in my former school never tired of my reading this book to them. This is a great "peek-a-boo" book that toddlers or pre-schoolers would love, esp. if they are into trains and Thomas the Train.
I would definately recommend this book for any Thomas fan. He gets very excited to see what is "hiding" beneath the flaps. My son is 1 year old and absolutely loves this book. The flaps are large enough for him to lift and not rip them.
Wanted more story to go with it, but overall it's a good book. My 2 year old loved this book at first, but has become bored with it.
I highly recommend it. All-around this is the best book we've purchased in a long time. My son loves this book, so much so that we read it EVERY night at bedtime and several other times during the day. The flip-up pages are sturdy and fun.
This was a perfect fit for him. My two year old grandson is totally in love with trains, especially Thomas and friends. He loves anything with trains.
